Subject: Coughing

Sorry, no graphic for this one, and don't laugh, it works 100% of the time although the scientists at the Canada Research council (who discovered
it) aren't sure why.

To stop nighttime coughing in a child (or adult as we found out personally), put Vicks Vaporub generously on the bottom of the feet at bedtime, then cover with socks.

Even persistent, heavy, deep coughing will stop in about 5 minutes and stay stopped for many, many hours of relief.

Works 100% of the time and is more effective in children than even very strong prescription cough medicines. In addition it is extremely soothing and comforting and they will sleep soundly.

I heard the head of the Canada Research Council describe these findings on the part of their scientists when they were investigating the
effectiveness and usage of prescription cough medicines in children as compared to alternative therapies like accupressure. Just happened to tune in A.M. Radio and picked up this guy talking about why cough medicines in kids often do more harm than good due to the chemical makeup of these strong drugs so, I listened.

It was a surprising finding and found to be more effective than prescribed medicines for children at bedtime, and in addition, to have a soothing and calming effect on sick children who then went on to sleep soundly.

Lolly tried it on herself when she had a very deep constant and persistent cough a few weeks ago and it worked 100%! She said that it felt like a warm blanket had enveloped her, coughing stopped in a few minutes and believe me, this was a deep, ( incredibly annoying!) every few seconds uncontrollable cough, and she slept cough free for hours every night that she used it.

Hi,

I am a detox specialize and specialize in helping people get rid of their health issues via a detox.

From your description, your friend is likely to have a weaker lung.

However, this is not a disease. Her lungs are just weaker and not functioning well.

This could be due to various reasons:
- self intoxification due to a dirty colon
- body is too 'cool'

I would need to see her and talk to her to be able to confirm exactly what is the cause and to suggest a detox programme to help her.

And the detox is simple. All you need to do is three things.

Number one, follow the detox programme which requires you to change your diet a little bit. Eg, take more vege and less meat and seafoods.

Number two, use 1 minute a day to take some natural health foods that I take to enhance the speed and the effect of the detox.

Number three, drink lots of water to flush the toxins out..

And that's it.

The rest is up to you.

So what do you think? ;)

If you are keen to find out more about my detox programme, you can email me at verityy@yahoo.com.

SOunds like standard post-nasal drip. Mucus/liquid from the nose trickles down to the back of the throat during sleep, and then the person wakes with a coughing fit.
A visit to the dr. might not be a bad idea, especially if there are other symptoms (sweating at night, fever, etc.) but if there are no other symptoms, she might want to try taking an over-the-counter nasal decongestant at night before bed to dry up the mucus/nasal secretions. Do this for 4-5 nights.

I had a similar problem and I found out that it was my pillows and mattress that was making me cough.I bought a new mattress and put on zippered mattress cover.I also bought new pillows and zippered allergy covers. In my my case the dust was a allergy trigger my doctor prescribed Qvar an inhaled aerosol 2 puffs in the morning and 2 Puff's in evening.Changes in the weather would as so cause me to cough for weeks. It could be carpet, drafts, mold, pets, upholstered furniture. As for the blocked nose I suggest sudafed pe and lots of water to clear her up.

I have a similar problem myself. The ER diagnosis was chronic bronchitis, but I don't know if I believe that. I'm more inclined to believe nocturnal asthma. There are occasions when I can feel my chest tightening. I've been given a prescription for albuterol breathers. If I sit very still for an hour or so, those symptoms tend to pass. I find that hot coffee will help sometimes, too.

your friend is gonna die, but then again , so are you. we all are. she should try some expectorant , you can buy it without a prescription. your friend may have walking pneumonia. and yes she could die from that if she lets it linger. if she coughs and doesn't cough up green shyt, then her cough is non- productive which means it needs loosened up. triaminic will help , it's in the nose spray section of the walmarts. I know you know what a walmart is. get some for your friend.
