It's a little awkward. That's why a lot of people just buy them online and have it delivered to their door in a plain package.
It's usually cheaper online, anyways.
If you buy from this site, it only says "Web Merchants" as the sender, and no one will have any idea what's inside.

I just go to the drugstore, or on short notice the convenience store (ask behind the counter). You shouldn't feel ackward buying condoms. It's alot better to buy them and be safe, then to catch something that you'll have forever. But if buying them bothers you that much, take a walk to your local health office, or youth center. They usually have lots in a basket somewhere, and no one will be the wiser if you pocket a few.

When I have to buy embarrassing items, I usually go to a place that has a self checkout, like wal mart, and some grocery stores. That way you don't have to look at the cashier when purchasing something you rather not share with everyone.

I have not had sex yet, so i never got condoms. However, it should not be too awkward. I doubt any cahsier would give you a hard time about it. That's not their job. Most stores have condoms. grocery stores, drug stores, gas stations, etc.

Purchasing "personal products" can feel somewhat embarassing. They are a fact of life today. You can purchase them at drug stores, grocery stores, 7-11's to name a few places. To minimize your embarassment, purchase a number of items, and just put that package on the counter with everything else.
--How old are you? Is this something you should be involved with at your age? This is an ADULT activity, not something to take lightly with disregard for the emotional wellbeing yourself or girls.

You can get condoms from Kmart, Wal-mart, Wallgreens, a porn shop. I don't know if it is awkward. My boyfriend buys them.
