so continue to enjoy your milk and eggs. I consider them a gift, if they come from happy, well cared for animals. I live like a vegan in all other regards. You can get protein from other sources, such as beans, lentils, legumes, pulses and whole grains, such as quinoa. A good balance diet is the key to good health

O.k. those are not great sources b/c of fat, cholesterol, etc. If you are worried about protein intakes be sure to eat lots of beans, nuts, legumes, try soy products like Chocolate Silk (its mmm good). To ensure that you get complete amino acids (protein) use complementary proteins. Eat beans w/ rice or corn, also peanut butter w/ bread. If you combine different vegetable proteins you should have a perfectly balanced vegetarian diet. I am a STRICT vegetarian (not vegan) and also a nutrition major and I am perfectly healthy. Hope this helps.

There are many vegan sources of protein, beans, certain vegetables, soy - but if you like eggs and milk - and are not morally opposed to eating them - have at it.

You obviously have not done any research of nutrition. Protein is in everything. Beans, nuts and whole grains are fantastic sources of protein and much healthier then eggs and dairy.

The Vegan needs to take vitamin supplements, mostly from the B group.

Vegetarians generally will develop a meat crave within a certain length of time in their dietary fad.
