Do you mean something like an Alcoholics Anonymous but for Smokers? I remember reading something in Time Magazine. I'll see if I can dig it up.

I posted a link to the article in the sources section below. I would quote from it, but I'm not sure how much I can before being accused of "...reprinting or retransmitting without expressed written permission..." etc...

Check around at hospital's,I was in a program at a hospital where we meet twice a week,They gave us patches in the program to help with the urge of not wanting to smoke and someone we could call on if we felt the urge to smoke. There was no limit time on how long you were in the program and it was free.Cigarette patches and all.
