it's more likely to make you drowsy, codeine is a narcotic and will affect you mentally a little as well, you should get a decent night's sleep! Hope you feel better soon

I've always found it to be a stimulant (like coffee) so it keeps
me awake (also can constipate you as well). Although
some are just so relaxed not to be in pain or coughing etc they simply sleep like a baby. I think it depends but I think
I opt against taking it at night. IMHO

Most people get drowsy from codeine.

depends on how you react to codine. Some people it will make sleepy, others it will keep them awake.

I take it before bed all the time, you'll be fine. It's non drowsy, so it won't really do anything to you. It works really well though. Hope you feel better.

It will cause drowsyness as it is a derivative of opium
