Try making a cobbler. It has the flavors of pie, but it uses a different type of crust. It could be a happy compromise.

Or just consider yourself lucky and have the pie all to yourself!

Run away. This doesn't sound like the kind of problem that can be overcome. Make yourself a sign that says "I'm looking for a pie-loving lady to take care of me." I'm sure it will do well.
