What?
I highly doubt that. I'm sure you are probably thinking if someone got pricked by a thorn, and another person came behind and got pricked by the same thorn...ehh, I would say that is highly unlikely.
You probably aren't working hard enough at work to be thinking of questions like that :o)

I guess the only way could get Aids from a rose bush is if someone ahead of you, with AIDS, walks past the rose bush, gets pricked and leaves a little blood on that thorn. Then you come by and the same thorn pricks you, cuts you, and some of the other person's blood get's into your bloodstream. That might do it. But the chances are pretty damn far fetched.

Tell "your co-worker" that a rose bush does not have human blood, and therefore cannot perform the bloodstream-to-bloodstream transfer required to transmit the HIV virus.
If someone cut themselves on a thorn and perhaps left a speck of blood there, the virus would die very quickly. So it would not be possible for the next person, even if they cut themselves on the same thorn out of the hundreds there, to get HIV.
You "both" need to get some basic HIV/AIDS information - and right away - before someone is uninformed enough to get infected. No really, right away.

No, but you can get AIDS from a girl named Rose by putting it in her bush.

Definitely not. HIV virus can only survive outside the body if in an undried blood solution. If someone pricked themself on a rose thorn, and then you pricked yourself on the same thorn, there is 0% chance of contracting AIDS

If someone else with aids poked their finger on the same thorn as you and left blood behind then yes it is possible.

Absolutely. As long as you submerse the rose bush in the blood from an HIV positive person, then rub the bloody rose bush in another person's open wounds.

Not very likely, but there could be a "scenario" on a "soap opera" where this would happen ! Your friend needs to educate herself more, these are scary times indeed. Take care. SW FNP

if a thorn of the bush has the blood of an infected person on it and you break the skin with that same thorn, then yes, you possibly could. I can't see how a dirty thorn is different from a dirty needle.

Highly unlikely, but all your friend has to do is get tested. But tell your friend there's nothing to worry about cause it has to be a real worst case scenario!
