How do you make the shrimp lobster sauce served at Chinese restaurants? I love Asian foods, also how do make the Asian-style green beans? Thank You:) I want to surprise my husband with an all Asian meal I already have a few recipes for the other dishes I'm preparing please help.

Asian Shrimp and Lobster Sauce

1 lb ground pork
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 1/2 cups water
1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 tablespoons cornstarch, in
1/4 cup water
3 eggs, slightly beaten
3 green onions, sliced thin

Heat wok.
Stirfry pork, breaking apart any chunks.
Add garlic and salt.
Add soy, oyster sauce and water to pork.
Cover and boil five minutes.
Add shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through.
Thicken mixture with cornstarch slurry.
Cook until mixture is clear and thick.
Add green onions and beaten eggs, stirring consta

Green Beens

1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
2 green onions, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
2-3 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1/2 cup roasted red sweet bell peppers, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted (optional)

Cook green beans in boiling water 4 to 6 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain. Plunge into ice water to stop the cooking process; drain.
Sauté green onions, garlic, and ginger in hot sesame oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat 1 minute. Add green beans and bell pepper; cook 1 minute. Add oyster sauce and pepper, stirring until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with almonds, if desired.

Stir-Fried Green Beans Recipe

Ingredients

1 bundle long green beans OR 2-4 cups regular green beans
3 Tbsp. very small dried shrimp (available at Asian Markets, either by weight or in packets), OR add 1 extra tsp. shrimp paste to the stir-fry sauce
1/4 cup hot water
STIR-FRY SAUCE:


3 cloves garlic
1 thumb-size galangal OR ginger
2 shallots OR 2 slices cooking onion
1 tsp. shrimp paste (available by the jar at Asian stores)[/lli]
1 tsp. brown sugar
1-2 red chillies, OR 1-2 tsp. red chilli sauce
2 tsp. sesame oil
1 Tbsp. fish sauce
1 Tbsp. soy sauce OR tamari
