you can use those beans in bean pies they taste the best.

I don't believe there is any such thing as a chicory bean. You may have been misled by the idea of chicory in coffee. The chicory added to some coffees (esp. in Louisianna) isn't the bean or the leaf, but rather the roasted root.

well i have searched many books and online and have found no recipes for the bean just the leaves...sorry.
