Fruit dip is always a big hit! Take one large tub of cool whip and blend it with 1 cup stawberry yogurt. You can add slices of strawberries to it if you like, but they're optional. Serve with all sorts of fruit such as grapes, strawberries, pineapple, etc...

Bruchetta is always a quick appitizer.
Slice up a baguette, rub slices with olive oil and garlic. Toast. Chop up onion, tomoto and fresh basil and put on top of toasts. You can also add parmesan cheese. Maybe to hawaiian it up you could top the toast with some kind of pineapple mix instead. Maybe pineapple (chopped), cilantro and yellow tomotoes.
Fruit and veggies with dips is always quick and easy.
If you wanted a hot appitizer you could make waikiki meatballs:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
2/3 cup cracker crumbs
1/3 cup minced onion
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp ginger
1/4 cup milk
Sauce:
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 can pineapple tidbits (drain, reserve syrup)
1/3 cup white vinegar
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/3 cup chopped green pepper
Mix first 7 ingrediants together. Form meatballs. brown and cook meatballs in skillet. Remove meatballs and pour fat from skillet. Mix cornstarch with reserved pineapple juice, vinegar and soy sauce until smooth. Pour into skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring until mixture thickens and boils. Let boil 1 min. Add meatballs, pine apple and green peppers. Heat through. Serve.
This is one of my familys favorite recipes. To make it a meal it can be served with rice. For an apptizer serve with cocktail toothpicks.

I have a variation on the appetizer with prosciutto:
All you need are toothpicks, some cantaloupes (make sure they are sweet!) and thinly sliced prosciutto.
Directions:
1. Cut the cantaloupe up into 1/2 inch cubes.
2. Fold some prosciutto into similar size, or wrap it around a cantaloupe cube.
3. Hold them together with a toothpick.
4. Enjoy.

Take some sliced ham, preferrably 1/2 to 1 inch thick and place already cubed and canned pineapples on top. use either toothpicks or umbrella type toothpicks to hold toghter and allow your guests to pick them up that way. it is better and cheaper to buy the ham in bulk and cut it yourself or have the deli do it for free, and have the pineapple chunks already cut and in the can.
Save the juice from the can(s) and add a touch of blue dye to give it that Ocean effect and just lay your pieces on top of that. Add just a tiny pinch of salt to the juice so it will have only the slightest taste of ocean. adults and children will enjoy it!!

Oh you are speaking my language!
First one:
Prociutto slices
Asparagus
Gruyere Cheese (similar to swiss, but a little nuttier.... so good!)
Okay, first, blanch the asparagus in boiling water for about 2 minutes, then shock in ice water. Wrap the prociutto around the asparagus, and then grate the gruyere over the top. Stick under the broiler until cheese melts and procuitto crisps up, these are really good.
Another one:
Beefsteak tomatoes
fresh mozzeralla
Fresh basil
Slice the beefsteak tomatoes into thick slices. Add a slice of fresh mozzeralla, then a basil leaf on top of that. Drizzle with a GOOD extra virgin olive oil, salt and fresh cracked pepper.
Another one:
English muffins
Cambazola cheese
sundried tomatoes
fresh basil
garlic
First you have to roast a whole garlic clove in the over, cut the top off, drizzle in olive oil, wrap in foil and toss in the oven for about an hour on 325 F. It will get really creamy. LIGHTLY toast english muffins; spread roasted garlic on them. Top with cambozola cheese, chopped sun dried tomatoes, and a little salt and pepper. stick in over at about 350F for about 10 minutes, until cheese melts. Garnish with chopped fresh basil.
Another one:
Tomato basil tortillas
herbed cream cheese
roasted fresh veggies, such as roasted red peppers, zuchinni and eggplant
lettuce
fresh cucumber
fresh sprouts
Warm tortillas on a hot skillet until soft. Spread softened herb cream cheese onto tortillas, layer roasted veggies with fresh veggies, and wrap up burrito style. Slice into slices. You can also add some sliced lunch meat to make this a non veggie dish.
One more:
London Broil
fresh mint
Season london broil with salt and pepper, and grill on each side on med-high heat about 6 minutes. Let rest about 20 minutes, then cut in thin slices against the grain. Place a sprig of mint on each slice, then roll up and secur with a toothpick. Suprisingly enough, the meat combined with the mint is really good.
Let me know if you want more! Have fun, and good luck!
