This is gross, and I know no fine restaurant would allow it, but what about the joints for the proletariats? This stuff is UGLY!!!

I don't eat where the cook has sh*t hanging off of, or out of his face; sorry if I offend. It's a sanitation issue, piercings are bacteria farms. I am a licensed food handler, and jewelry of any kind is in violation of code!

Yes I would.
I really love how you call someone with facial piercings a bozo. Very mature you seem to have a very strong, negative opinion about piercings. It takes a real BOZO to judge someone on their piercings.

Just because someone wants to be different and have facial piercings they're a weird person or a bozo and no, no fine reasturant would hire someone like that just becasue facial peircings aren't professional looking and I have facial piercings and I can still admit that.

But the best chef at the finest reasturant in the country could go and get their lip eyebrow septum and monroe pierced and they would still be the same person and have the same abillities to prepare food as they did the moment before they got the piericings.

I find that so god damn stereotypical of people to judge others by their piercings.

And judging someone on thier piercings would have to be judging someone on thier apperence to the absolute highest level

You know that I would rather pay some one to serve/prepare my food that is working an honest job, then to have to pay the welfare for someone that is not working. The addition of the facial piercings in no way should affect the way that someone judges some one that HAS A JOB. At least that person is trying to work. That is part of what is wrong with our society these days is that people are way to quick to judge by looks alone and not by the actual person.

As long as he or she followed procedures according the the food code, yes. Having facial piercings should have no bearing on the quality/wholesomeness of food. However, depending upon the clientele of a restaurant, I may be apprehensive to hire such a person as a host/hostess or as waitstaff since it may make customers nervous.

I would much rather have a CLEAN pierced person serve my food than some nicely dressed guy who came out of the bathroom without washing his hands!!

Yes, I would. It doesn't matter what the person looks like, as long as they are sanitary when preparing and serving the food. Don't discriminate against someone just because of what they look like.

If they are not sanitary when handling the food, or they are rude to you, then I wouldn't allow them to prepare and serve your food.

Why are you so close-minded? Facial piercings in no way effect the cook's or server's ability to do their job unless he or she have so many that they can't see what they're doing, or if the piercing is infected and/or bleeding. If this is the case, then I can understand your argument. But I doubt that, and I think you're just being too judgmental of other people's appearance. Lighten up. :)

What's more ugly is the ugliness of our society that judges so harshly based solely on appearance. In answer to your question, I have no problem with letting someone with full-face peircings serve me food. He/she is working just like the rest of us.

I don't have any myself nor would I get any (other then my ears) but yes, I would let someone with piercings prepare/serve my food. I am there for the food....not to become best friends with the server/cook. What he/she does with his/her body is his/her business.

There was a girl working retail with such gross multiple piercing you couldn't see her face it was full of metal. I figured she had to be the owners daughter cause nobody hires people like that . The whole idea of multiple piercing is to thumb your nose to society in general and society thumbs back by not hiring you for any sort of good paying job.
