jury is still out on that.. the liver makes bile which is stored in the gallbladder for the digestion of fat..if someone does not have a gallbladder, the bile will go directly from liver into the duodenum and help in the digestion of fat.. I would think that if a lot of fat was consumed, and not enough bile was produced for the digestion of that fat.. that that person would possibly have a lot of fat in their feces.

Yes! because without the gall bladder, all the fats stick to the body, because the gall bladder is not there to catch all the wast.

gall bladder stores bile. bile emulsifies fat. if their is no bile, then fat is not used by the body. fat is useful in the body only in a limited amout. if fast is not absorbed, it goes with the feces directly. this causes steatorrhea.

I did. But I was going to die with it so what choice did I have? So if you need it removed do it . Get a second opinion if you want.
