I am currently taking Toronto regular insulin for the last 20yrs.My Dr. reccommended Humalog for better control and change.

I always just got mine at the pharmacy.

If you are interested in humalog pen talk to your doctor or better yet get an appointment with an endocrinologist. Any insulin that ends in (log) is by prescription only. I use Norfolk pen which is the same thing, but i would suggest that you get the humalog vial and syringes, it's far cheaper then the pens.
Also humalog is just a fast acting insulin, usually tacking just prior to meal to help of set highs in your sugars. If you are having this problem it might be your eating habits.
Also contact a good diabetes educator, they too will be able to help you better understand what would work best in your case.
