I am the same way, anything with carbs I devour it is my comfort food, that and Ice cream/chocolate.

Ask yourself why your are going to eat? How much you are going to eat? For me, if there is a huge serving of pasta readily available for me to eat I will eat it. Same goes with Pizza Pops. I used to grab like 3 and four to eat me (back in the day when I didn't gain any pounds no matter what I ate.) Now I look at what have I had today? Was it healthy? Why would I be eating this? Am I really hungry? By the time you ask yourself all these questions you realize it too much work, lets just turn on TSN and watch the hockey highlights.

Balance things out. For example I use Fridays and Saturday nights as my not healthy for me but yummy nights.
Another thing to do is exercise for those taste bud-loving waste line hating foods. For example with Weight watchers a Big Mac meal is roughly 25 points. On days where I have school and work and McDonalds is all I have time for I make sure I run on the treadmill for an hour and do an hour of weights and 30 mins of yoga.

If you eat comfort food to make you feel better, find another way. Exercising is my big thing. It releases endorphins, so I will go to the gym, or go into the exercise room, play golf or go play tennis with some pals. Another thing is shopping, as it makes many ladies happy.

And remember everything in moderation. And change that moderation. If you love pizza (as do I) instead of having 5 pieces have 2. Instead of getting a regular crust, get a whole wheat thin crust. If your a bread lover as I am don't use white bread, use whole wheat or a 60% whole wheat low fat bread. If you don't like low fat bread get the new wonder bread where it tastes and looks like white bread but has all the nutritional value of whole wheat.

Find supplemental foods. I mentioned I love ice cream, so when I crave ice cream I get the fat free Carmel swirls or fat free Neapolitan. I am also a bit of a cookie monster and chip lover and have switched to flavored rice cakes.

But most importantly always eat what you want, and eat period. Don't try to be like those anorexic models, for starters it’s not healthy, and it doesn't look that great. Don’t be afraid to have a big ol sandwich once in a while, and don't feel guilty when you have eaten something that isn't healthy. When I pig out or have fast food as soon as I start to feel guilty I tell myself that it was my decision to eat it, it is also my decision to exercise.

Try to use a 3 hour time limit in between eating something. So if you eat a meal at noon, promise yourself to not eat anything until 3:00, but make sure you eat every 3 hours or you'll end up snapping. If you start to struggle at say 1:00pm, tell yourself, it's only 2 more hours, thats not long, I can wait. You will find yourself snacking less and eating less calories. It will also give you 6 meals during the day 3 snacks and 3 meals. Eat as much as you want (within reason and try to avoid sugar)at those certain times. Good luck.

don't call me cause we would be in heaven together, good food is a hobby of mine, unless ur pretty over weight then it would be dangerous for ur health, buy one of those blobs of fat and look at it each time u stick something in ur mouth.
