can you contract an STD through unprotetected sex (if the girl gets her period), even if neither of you have an STD?

No. Someone has to be infected to pass it to the other person. Having a period has nothing to do with stds at all

some std's are asymptomatic, meaning that a person can have it but never show any symptoms. so you can definitely contract an STD through unprotected sex, even if neither party is aware they have an STD. (a girl getting her period has nothing to do with whether you will contract an STD or not)

You cannot contract an std unless someone has it. Yes if you have unprotected sex even on a period you are at high risk for stds. If you have an std that means you or your girl had it. Go get it fixed asap. WEAR CONDOMS!
