Vegetarians do not eat fish.
But to answer your questions, my boyfriend, who is not a vegetarian, loves salmon. It's high in Omega 3 oils, which is very healthy for you. He eats it with steamed veggies. Vegetarians can get this oil by eating raw walnuts.
As a vegetarian, I sometimes crave a tuna sandwich, but obviously I don't succumb to the craving. Years ago when I ate tuna (before I was a vegetarian), I used to like it with chopped pickles & celery and a little mayo and pepper on wheat bread with lettuce and tomatoes.

Vegetarians do not eat fish. Fish is an animal with flesh and we do not consume the flesh of animals.
NO vegetarian eats fish...period. It's impossible. You cannot be a vegetarian and eat fish since vegetarians do not eat animal flesh. That's just the way it is. People who call themselves vegetarians and eat fish are either lying or just don't know any better.
From the dictionary: "Vegetarianism is the practice of not consuming the flesh of any animal"
Please don't go around saying some vegetarians eat fish.
I am a vegetarian and I think I might know if my chosen lifestyle allows fish and I know that it does not.

Don't get on your high horse if people put you right on the definition of the word 'vegetarian'. I can't start to tell you how annoying it is when people assume you eat fish (or chicken - grrr) when you say you're vegetarian. It's thanks to all the wannabes that we have to put up with this.
Just for your future reference, vegetarians don’t eat:
• Meat
• Poultry
• Game
• Fish, shellfish and crustacea
• Slaughterhouse by-products such as gelatine, rennet and animal fats.
We do eat just about anything else!

Oops, wrong section.
Vegetarians don't eat animals.
:)
Edit- There may be a lot of people who *call themselves* vegetarian and eat fish, but an animal-eating vegetarian is a contradiction in terms, as well as an insult to vegetarians. Nothing personal, those people just really screw things up for us.
But to answer your question, many years ago, before I became vegetarian, I liked making salmon-salad sandwiches.
:)

My favourite shell fish is langoustine with garlic butter and my favourite wet fish is Dover Sole with lemon butter. I like the langoustines with home made crusty bread and the Dover Sole with rice mixed with peas, onions and mushrooms and an orange and lettuce salad.
