Nooooo!!! Vegetarians can not watch sports at all. Try professional knitting, or the gardening Chanel. Also, you are no longer allowed to wear leather shoes, belts or jackets. Gloves must be made from recycled materials only. Also, since all action films could potentially harm animals or insects due to gratuitous explosions, you may only watch romantic chick flicks as long as you promise to cry at the end, otherwise, cartoons only. Your right to be male has been revoked.
Now if you will excuse me, I must go lay down on my leather furniture, eat KFC with Steak for desert while reviewing re-runs of How's it made, you know the episode where they visit the company that makes foot balls.
Buddy the general idea is that you live by your convictions. Really man, dont go over board and turn into one of those activist zellots.

Far as I know, a vegetarian focuses on what they eat. Vegans focus on EVERYTHING - lifestyle, food, that sort of thing. But really, I'd say it's up to the person and the reason they've decided to become a vegetarian. My aunt's one because she's actually allergic to meat. My friend's a vegan because she's against the mistreatment of animals. There are so many reasons someone decides to become vegetarian, from health related to personal opinions. So how could any "rule" apply to everyone in this type of situation? Besides - where are there vegetarian rules anyway??

Your watching a game, not eating the goods..
sometimes i think things get carried away..
we have vegetarians and vegans in our family..
i respect their eating habits.. and they mine.. I'm an admitted meat eater. But, eating more veggies now as getting older..
that is more i think an animal rights issue.. you are asking about..
Supposed studies showed years ago that a potato felt pain.. am i suppose to now not eat them or other veg's because of ??
some talk to plants , as they supposedly respond to us...
all living things have a life source i believe, and are for our enjoyment.. we forget that..
just use wisdom.. and respect all living things that are around you , we are to be as guardians , having stewardship over. that which has been placed on the Earth for mankind...caring for ALL things..
It is good that you care...

I don't mean any offense, but if you feel that way, wouldn't it also be "against the rules" to have friends that wear leather?

Good point! But wouldn't that go with the logic then that vegans shouldn't even associate with other people that eat meat?
