HIV and hepatitis are tested by a blood sample.

Chlamydia and gonorrhea are tested by a urine sample and sometimes a swab sample.

Trichomoniasis is diagnosed by a physical examination and laboratory test.

Herpes can be diagnosed by a physical examination, a blood, sample, or a sample of fluid from the sores.

Syphilis is usually diagnosed by a blood sample, but it can also be diagnosed by a swab sample from the sores.

HPV is usually detected by an abnormal pap smear. There is NO test to detect HPV in men.

***Also, chlamydia and gonorrhea ARE tested by a urine sample (despite what the girl below me says). I got tested for all STDs a few months ago. They took a blood sample and a urine sample from me.

GC/Chlamydia can both be tested in men and women by a urine culture as long as it has been at least 2 hours since they last voided. If less than 2 hours, a swab can be done. I collect urine from pts on a daily basis for this test.

Syphilis, HIV/AIDS,hepatitis are all tested for with a blood sample.

Herpes lesions can be swabbed for culture, or a blood sample can be taken to see if you have been exposed to the herpes virus. You can test positive with a blood sample, but never have an outbreak of lesions.

Chlamydia, gonorrhea, and trichomoniasis are tested for with a vaginal swab. THEY ARE NOT TESTED FOR IN URINE.

HPV is tested for in a vaginal/cervical swab.

Men can have all the same blood tests, and can have URETHRAL swabs to check for chlamydia, gonorrhea, and some others.

Men can also carry yeast in their urethra, and give their partners yeast infections.

There are NO URINE tests for ANY STD's

India had a detailed to desirable adventure after Australia's first innings batting,i concept it grew to become into stable first innings from Aussies yet India scored so rapid through Dhawan and co and Australia's 2nd innings capitulation that got here approximately so as we communicate on the final day would be unable to be defined even via Ian Chappell.Batting for India clicked so nicely in this sequence, that they had a detailed to desirable adventure.Australia would desire to've drawn this adventure yet they ended up dropping on the final day through a pair undesirable batting in 2nd innings.
