Do you know anyone who has had this treatment? ASTART (Accute Stroke Treatment with Atorvastatin and Irbesartan)This treatment is a study and patients are randomly chosen (toss of coin), patients put into 4 groups. 1 group takes Irbesartan Blood pressure tablet and cholesterol tablet Atorvastatin, 2nd group - Irbesartan alone, 3rd Atorvastatin alone 4th group - Placebo (dummy tablet). Staff will not know what treatment patient is on. My father started taking this tonight 26/3/07 and I would really appreciate any information someone may have email me at nymiller78@yahoo.com

Naomi, I haven't heard of it. Have you tired looking up clinical trials on the web? I've somehow gotten to that website and literlly have found hundreds. Have you tried emailing the companies? Good luck hope you get what you need
