luking 4 help 4 r pet...I manually remove her ticks at least thrice a day, can afford dis, as am a stayhome mom. wld appreciate advice/ideas on hw v cld keep d ticks away.the worst spot the ticks r found r inbetween her paws where I think they breed from and it breaks my heart to see her goin crazy wid d bites. v live in south of india where medicines which r available in the western world are not available. only way v cld get d medicines from d west is through friends who travel abroad or friends who live abroad who wld b happy 2 mail it to us. thanks for your time and help. take care

I use Frontline on my cats; I believe they make it for dogs too.

Advantix. A prescription pill from the vet works best for us. It keeps fleas off as well and our dog thinks the once a month dose is a treat.

A flea and tick collar should do the trick
