Hi where getting married this year and we arent going away but want to go somewhere in England for a week. We are thinking of going to Blackpool for the week. The thing is I havent got a clue on how to go about things. I have got a brochure but we dont drive or anything so how do we get there and stuff. The wedding is July the 14th this year and were thinking of maybe going from the monday to the Friday or something like that.

Any advice would be great ? Thanks

Hi Angel. Congrats on your up & coming wedding. What i would do is ring a few coach companies or pop into your local travel agents, they'll be able to help you with everything. Bakers Dolphin are very good & reasonably cheap, but it does all depend on how far you live away from Blackpool. If you go to Your Travel agents, they'll be able to book up everything for you, such as Hotel & Travel arrangements. I hope this helps. Have a great Wedding, best of luck.

You dont say how much you hope to spend, but a week in Blackpool will cost you an arm and a leg. If its togetherness and scenery and good deals try the Lakes. Not far from Barrow in Furness and a better Honeymoon would be had. You dont want to share it with lager louts and once on the Pleasure Beach and you've done the Blackpool thing. Congratulations love, wealth health and hapiness to you both.

Either trains, because there are two main stations in Blackpool, or coach. But make sure you try and book a place to stay early on because it can get quite busy in the summer. Outside Blackpool South station there is a B&B office can find you somewhere to stay as well

Er, not exactly sure where you are travelling from? But Blackpool is easily accessible by train or coach from most places in the UK. You could do most of your booking online for hotels and travel too.
I would recommend Cornwall for a holiday though, much nicer than Blackpool

There are heaps of websites where you can book accommodation etc. wherever you choose.
I wouldn't recommend Blackpool though for such a special occasion as this.
There are some much nicer areas in England to visit including Cumbria, Northumbria, Devon ,Cornwall or try going north of the border to Scotland......Edinburgh, Inverness, Oban, Dornoch etc.

Have a great time!

A weekend in Blackpool and you've seen everything so I wouldn't advise going there. If it's your sort of thing then you could go to the Lake District, which is just stunning and has plenty to offer for people staying for a week!

Hi,
Where will you be travelling from? I believe a few flights go into Blackpool airport.

How about a little cottage on the Cornish coast? I did that with an ex a few years ago for a long weekend and it was incredibly romantic and we had a lovely time.
