First of all, yay for you for feeding natural foods!! I'm really big on that. But to answer your question, I personally like dry food because it cleans the teeth and makes poop more solid and easier to clean up but every now and then, my dogs get wet food as a sort of treat. They love it but it makes their poop stinky and watery when fed regularly. Wet food for puppies especially does this but it's a lot easier for them to eat, which is why I'd personally feed a mix. But that's just me.

Dry food is the ideal and additionally you may do it alongside with some canned. do no longer feed leftovers. that would lead on your dogs being obese which in turn can carry approximately all forms of issues. Feed your dogs dry two times an afternoon and additionally you may the two combination slightly canned in with the dry or no longer feed canned food in any respect. purely determine you're feeding parts that are no longer uncontrolled on account that would carry approximately being obese additionally. I do would desire to declare although that slightly something from the table each now after that isn't harm as long as your dogs abdomen can handle it even though it won't be his/her meal and it won't be great in volume. in case you ever exchange the form of dry food your dogs gets purely determine you adjust it steadily via including slightly of the hot food to the previous at a time till you thoroughly change over. Switching rapidly would reason abdomen disillusioned and diarrhea.

I've always found that dry food is better for the digestive tract, but my dogs eat better when there is some wet food mixed in. I do about 2/3 dry and 1/3 wet. It keeps them happy and healthy.

My dog has never had a problem with cans. we give him dry as well. he is a stuffy and we give him about a cup of each.
don't for get raw bones. dogs don't take calcium the way we do through dairy -in fact most dogs are lactose intolerant. If dogs need calcium they need to eat bones. chicken necks are great for protein and calcium.
he also loves the apples off the tree -but i think that's just him, they taste better then tennis balls.

I'd go with mostly dry foods. I occasionally feed my dogs wet food as treats, but not often. The dry foods tend to be more healthy.

I have always mixed some of both. The majority is dry with some canned mixed in. I only use the better quality, holistic diets.

For when my dogs were Pups, I gave them the Best of Upper Echelon Brands of Puppy Kibble.

I now feed my dogs a mix of Kibble and Canned of the highest standards. I spare no cost for my dog's food.

I also at times give them Salmon and Kibble, Tuna (in water) and Kibble, De-Boned Chicken and Kibble, on occasion boiled and drained Ground Round or Chuck with their Kibble.

I also give them a good high end pressed meal treats or sometimes Milkbone biscuits. I also give them Purina bac'n or "carry-out" treats.

After the recall on wet pet food (having been poisoned) I will never feed ANY of my animals wet again. Besides, dry is far more nutritionally sound-as wet is akin to junk-food for dogs. It also helps fight plaque.

Some of both is great. Dry has more carbohydrates then wet..wet has more meat content then dry...it makes a nice balance and offers variety as well.
