Around 500,000 regular/reserve troops and over 2,000,000 paramilitaries. They have a lot of soviet equipment and several planes that they have developed themselves. The other thing that they do have is stealth detection technology which can detect stealth planes. Perform a search under Iran stealth technology and you'll find it.

Remember that Iran is not some dusty backward country. They have excellent scientists and engineers so don't discount their technology just because you don't understand their country and culture.

Iran's military technology consists of mostly outdated Soviet equipment and American arms. For instance, they have some American F-14 fighters, and a few Soviet submarines. They have about 420,000 men in their armed forces. They have some medium range ballistic missiles as well. How does this compare to the U.S. military? It doesn't.

Well let's see........oh yea, for the past year we've heard about these ultra super superior missles and fancy underwater missles "better than anyone's". I would say that Iran has a massive ego problem and that reality is really going to hurt. Soon.
