Washing up liquid. Is this some kind of school prank?

Use Peanut butter. Separate the unaffected hair using clips. Rub a generous amount of peanut butter onto the gum, trying hard not to get any more gum stuck in your hair. rub on just the gum on gentle circular motions. You should feel the gum begin to get stringy. Gently pull the gum away from your hair - if it doesn't come out rub more peanut butter in it.

Using your fingernails grip a few strands and slide them down the hair, the gum will slide right down if the peanut butter has dissolved it.

When you feel like you have removed all of the gum, put a few drops of shampoo on the piece of hair and rub gently then wipe off with a wet cloth.

Finally wash your hair as you normal l would.

I have always found that this doesn't damage you hair and there is no need for cutting.

try butter or baby oil...smother the strands with it and rub around....scrape your nails down it to pull off the gum. Make sure you hold the hair near the root with the other hand so you are not creating a sore patch on your scalp by constantly pulling at the roots!!!

peanut butter is great for getting chewing gum out of hair. (smooth not crunchy). Rub the peanut butter into the gum well, then comb. Wash hair when the gum is out. I have done this successfully a few times.

STEP 1: Rub peanut butter into hair and around gum and slowly work gum out of hair. Oil counters gum's stickiness. Shampoo thoroughly afterward. Mayonnaise and butter also work, but not as well as peanut butter.

Cut it.

BUT

ONLY cut the section that the bubble gum is in ( lose a small amount of hair, hardly noticeable)

Wet your hair and try a little bit of creamy (not chunky) peanut butter. Work the gum with your fingers while rinsing under running water. My mom used to do this with me a lot when I was little. Worked every time!

put an ice cube on the gum until it gets hard then it should break away. Either that or you'll have to cut it out i'm afraid.

Peanut butter. The peanut oil will loosen the gums grip. Then obviously wash with shampoo after, so you don't smell like a PBJ.

I have never gotten it out except through cutting the hair. Good luck!

i'm not so sure how you would freeze your hair, but my best solution is to run peanut butter down the length of your hair continually until it slides out.
