Yes. Scoliosis will effect height. If your doctor suggests a brace, PLEASE wear it the required number of hours. Without the brace it is possible for your scoliosis to get worse. Thankfully, you are still young and a brace can help you. If it had not been for my curve, I would have been taller. I actually gained an inch from my scoliosis surgery. Talk to your doctor about your options.
