guys that are verbally and mentally abusive...When I think I connect with the "nice guy" (and that's all I want) something happens and I dont get the guy I want.
How do I fix this?

you cant help or fix this , it is the common statistics game , for both sexes , you see the old saying , there are plenty more fish in the sea is so true , there are many fish that sting , and bite , and the shark , will just bite your head off , but... your problem is that you do not see yourself as the pretty fish , and dont want to wait for the big slow sexy fish to swoon you , you want the fucky wucky fish , who will baffle you with bullshit , and slip you one , just because like all of us you need to feel that you are loved , this time wait a little , really grab hold of the essence of what you feel will prolong a relationship , then drop your line and reel it in - if it doesnt feel like a goer let the fish go and keep your bait for the next one.. good luck

Stop putting up with there Stuff. If a guy is abusive toward you, use your feet and walk away from the situation, or better yet, let them know that you will not tollerate that type of behavior.
I think that guys will try and push the boundries so you need to set where you want those to be.

You know lol i am attracted to bad guys too and i really dont know why because if i see this nice guy the first thing i say its EW so to fix it i dont know if its possible....you have to change your tastes

I don't think there is a quick 'fix' for this one (More's the pity because I seem to do the exact same thing)

Do your homework first, go places where you know they hang out and just watch how they act, ask question. You do not have to take any type of abuse from any man
