I was really skeptical about this, still am, and it is a really odd observation, however as my Mum sees kids with ADHD on a daily basis, I felt it was worth giving it some thought, and seeing if others noticed this as well?
Also while I am asking, what sorts of things do you notice in people with ADHD that could explain why they can appear or give the sense of being awkward?

This is really interesting, I'm glad I asked the question.Just from reading some of the responses I'd say it is probably like ADHD in general, where each person presents differently. I wonder if it may be certain types of ADHD are more prone to walking differently (not necessarily strangely, just differently, and my Mum says it is really a subtle thing than an obvious difference). I wonder what may be the reason for some walking differently and others who also have ADHD not showing this difference.
Also not all people with ADHD are 'hyper', some girls for example may be more likely to talk incessantly than act out 'hyper' yet still have the hyperactivity, except it is not the sort of hyperactivity that people expect (as a result of stereotyping).
I never really found ADHD a good title for this condition I feel it leads to assumptions that do not represent the majority of people who have the condition, either that or leads people to interpret the condition incorrectly from the name.

I spoke further to my Mum and I wont say too much as I respect the rights of people with ADHD to remain anonymous...the difference in the persons walk is not in their legs, but a difference in the upper body movement. It is related to Motor movement difficulties.
