I know how you feel. But then back in the 50's there were Hindus and non-Christians, as there had always been since the beginning of time. All the things you have noted may be depressing, but the idea is to try to survive spiritually in this depressing world.
Ultimately, you will realize that it is not what anyone else does (to you or another person) that determines how far you will go spiritually; it is what you do by yourself. So focus on yourself.
And by the way, this is where the hell is.

Hah.... Pull the other one plaguebearer... You won't convince anyone here of your retarded nonsense.
A lesson in reality for you:
#1. There is no hell.
#2. Morality is a moron's poor substitute for subjective judgement. It is still rampant in the world and ideally needs to be eradicated for us to progress.
#3. Homosexuality and people having sex outside of marriage are perfectly ok. For that matter, marriage itself is just a ridiculous display of pomp and ceremony, and only serves to damage real relationships.
#4. Sense and you don't go together. Athiesm does make sense. That is why you don't get it. There is no point to living but by our biological imperitive and our chosen will. Nobody -needs- a god.
#5. There are no "bad" things; just things the hive-mind doesn't like you doing.
#6. Murderers, adulterers, rapists and drug addicts are more common among christians than any other religious group. Think about it... if you can.
#7. No, it isn't depressing unless you're a whiny emo kid, sitting in your bedroom, slitting your wrists and listening to Linkin Park.
#8. The 40s and 50s had terrible music, ridiculous clothing, absurd hairstyles, messed up politics, rampant racial and sexual inequality... and no Internet on which either of us could express our entirely differing opinions. That is just the tip of the iceberg.
#9. Evolution is fact. It is observable. It is backed by unfalsifiable geological evidence. You have nothing on it.
#10. When "authority" fails to take responsibility for its position, it is doomed to be looked down on.
No.
No I don't agree with you in the slightest.
And I will be laughing when you die, for then the world will be a marginally better place for not having you in it.

You are judging other people!! Only God can judge in the end. The Bible says that there will always be opposition to the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that it will increase towards the end times. People will always try to make compromises with the Bible. Christianity will not stop you from doing bad things! Millions of people have been killed in the name of "Christianity". South Africa's Apartheid regime has been build on so-called "Christian" principles, that turned out to be complete misinterpreted. We keep sinning. However, if you have a true relationship with Christ he will forgive you for those sins and lead you on a path of good deeds. The stronger your relationship with Christ, the harder the devil will try to attack you through temptations
On a different topic.....
What was so moral and good about the 40's and 50's? WW2, holocoust comes to mind?
I am not a creationist but I am also not a evolutionist. I belief in Genesis and evolution.

The concept of a firey Hell is a misteaching of Man, Sheol or Gehenna or many other names by which Gods word the bible refers to it is being seperated from God and deceived by Satan the Devil.
Consider the scriptures for the answer:
Hell, The Bible terms it as the second death in the book of Revalation, from which there is no resurrection, i.e anyone going here would simply cease to exist. The Bible often refers to this as Sheol which means covered. It also refers to it as Gehenna, this was a valley outside Jerusalem where refuse and waste was dumped and burned, and very often the bodys of the diseased dead were dumped here. Suplher was put on the flames to keep it burning. This is where in the main the false teaching of Hell in the 'firey' sense came from.
Let us now consider what the scripture say regarding the location of Satan:
Revelation 12:9The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
Job1:Job's First Test
6 One day the angels [a] came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan [b] also came with them. 7 The LORD said to Satan, "Where have you come from?"
Satan answered the LORD, "From roaming through the EARTH and going back and forth in it."
Luke 4:5The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. 6And he said to him, "I will give you all their authority and splendor, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. 7So if you worship me, it will all be yours."
This clearly stated that satan was hurled to earth, was going to and fro on the earth and had been given authority on the earth, and also it states that he is misleading the whole planet, (false religion) Think of all the evil that men do, doesn't this make sense!
So in a nut shell, hell as it is thought of is not a teaching of the bible but of Man, as is the Trinity, I urge you to investigate these things for yourself.

Take your mobile phone to the grave. Give us a ring when you get there.
Your question reads as sarcastic, but you can never be sure on this site. If you really think that atheists, agnostics, homosexuals, non-christians and all law breakers are going to hell, then what is stopping you following them?

God is merciful and has the power to forgive everyone. But man sinned and that first sin we committed we cut off the bridge to God. So since God is a God of love, He gave us his Son, Jesus. He came into this world as God's Son and a human like us to show us all is possible through Him. For Christians if they ask his Son Jesus and repent to do better they are forgiven immediately. Only through Jesus can we be saved! Jews have a link with the covenant that they have with God. God loves them too. So for me as a Christian and Gentile, I worship the Tinity and the three persons in ONE God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) Jesus is my link to everlasting life and the historical New Testament proves his linking us to life with Him.
The moral problem is what am I doing to follow Jesus and be the best that I can?
What am I doing to prove that I love all of God's people but hate the evil being done?
God has a plan and it works through good and evil. Remember He is God and has time and will make it work.
Even though sin and evil think it has power and will win it doesn't know that it lost the battle already. When you say? Well,Jesus conquered death (sin) for all mankind by the cross and his death. Jesus became that redeemer for all of us. All we have to do is believe in Him and continue to do His good works and forgive and not condemn others. There are 10 commandments and all of them are as important, as the rest of them. So which one is the one that you have trouble with? Follow the Holy Spirit that will help you through life by blessing your mind with good things and how to forgive others. I do agree with all that God has said in the Old testament but the New testament is the fullfilment of the Old Testament through Jesus "The Christ."
So not to worry. The door is through Jesus and we can all be better and if we were, I think all evil would stop. God has alot of time but peace and love will happen. Worship once a week because if we don't we may follow the evil side and loose the battle.

Dream not. We are all in hell. Didn't the Bible itself describe hell as graveyard? Where is graveyard but here on Earth. Bud dist thinks hell is a metaphor for earth. The Bible describes hell similar to that we experience in this world. The Bible has no explicit claim that God created Hell. So either Hell did not exist or it is very different from what believers pictured out.

If hell exists, which i dont personally believe it does, then it depends on which faith is the right one doesnt it?
If pagan is right then I will be quite safe. However if the christian is right then I'll be in Hell.
I agree morals are almost non existant in the modern world. I dont like that at all. I wish that it were different.
HOWEVER NEVER say that homosexuality is wrong where I can see it because thats bulls#@t. My cousin is gay. Just because they are homosexual doesnt mean there not human.
If your going to be unaccepting do it where those who are accepting dont have to read ur crap

If abortion makes you feel sick, don't think about it, and feel lucky that you aren't in a position whereby you have to.
I've said this before. If there is anyone else who has had to face the decision of how to deal with an accidental pregnancy in more than just a theoretical sense then I'm willing to discuss the issue. Otherwise find something else to whine about.
Edit: Oh yes, and on the wonderful morality of the 40s and 50s. I hate to be the one to tell you, but "Leave it to Beaver" was a TV show, a fiction, a fabrication. In 1942 my father's name was on a list of people to be sent to a "training camp" in Russia. For some reason his name was overlooked and he managed to survive his ship being torpedoed on the way to Germany and eventually get to Australia. Wonderful display of morality towards a 10-year-old child.

Sorry to be the one to break this to you, but earth is hell. Didn't the Bible say God banned Satan to earth? Wellll? And get this, we are all children of Satan...are we standing in heaven right now? No, we're standing on earth where Satan is to spend his confinement. I can't think of one person, except Erma Bombeck who may have made it to heaven. We all have fallen short of God's specs. That's what reincarnating is for; at some point one of us might get it right, but we can't all be an Erma Bombeck. Can love her though. I had high hopes for Billy Graham and imagine my devastation when I heard the gossip. That left a likely nobody qualifying, again.
