I don't ask any questions here, but I answer them because I have the correct answers.
You can't have failed to notice that a lot of what believers post is lies about atheists. Surely you don't think that we should let believers convince each other of all of this nonsense about atheists without stepping in and pointing out the falsehoods and overall dishonesty? I'd probably not bother with this religion stuff if I thought that the believers would stop that kind of behavior, but I don't believe for a moment that they will.
In addition, the better question is "Why are believers answering questions about religion and spirituality when they know nothing about the topic?". Again, look around here - if atheists weren't giving you answers here, there'd be essentially no real information on this forum. Hardly any of the believers know the first thing about religion or spirituality.

regrettably you amply show the lack of understanding that is going with a christians closed techniques!! ATHEIST - somebody who does not have confidence in a God – any God – not in basic terms the Christian one. yet that doesn't advise they don't carry good ethical or religious ideals! they are able to persist with any faith that doesn't have a god and there are various those!! great religions like BUDDHISM – religious coaching from Buddha and his followers that by way of destroying greed, hatred and delusion (the rationalization for all suffering) guy can attain appropriate enlightenment!! So why do you not open your techniques and strengthen your understanding and mind so as which you will "provide us an excellent question or answer devoid of scary or mocking different "religions/spiritualities!!!!"

This is the third time I have seen a question like this today.
Atheists are here because there is always two sides to an argument. And there are so many questions aimed at Atheists, we have to answer - why ask a question if you don't want an answer?
I'm not an apple, but I am able to answer questions about apples.

you are assuming I hate religion with the football analogy.
It's more like the amusement of seeing someone argue the world is flat for me.
Plus, there are many atheists and agnostics who have a concept of spirituality, that would be the S in "R&S", ya know?
Finally, it's an open forum. Get over it.

Why do religious people ask questions about atheism?
Your analogy is also flawed
1) Football can be shown to exist
2) Atheists don't hate god, because hating god requires belief in god.

Maybe atheists look for a reason to believe in God. Deep down there is a craving for universal love that only God can give. . . Not a christian or a Muslim GOd .. just GOD.

I think the reason is that no human being is completely atheist. Any human in his deep consciousness knows that there is God, his Creator, and seeks him, even without fully realizing this.
