when i first installed vista i used my old sound max driver dat i used on xp,it worked fine for a day or 2.When i rebooted my comp on da 3rd day i think it was echoing and disturbed,I downloaded some other sound driver for vista but its still the same even after rebooting,wat should i do to get it working???

It sure seems like a driver problem. You might go to your computer manufacturer's website and see if they have updated drivers for your machine. If that fails, and assuming your machine was Vista capable in the first place, I'd next contact your customer support folks at the computer website. Vista has been having a lot of compatibility problems with software and hardware of all kinds.. As a last resort, you could contact Microsoft but I don't think they'll be much help. They usually pass the buck back to the computer manufacturer.
