pretty bad, very near sighted with that prescription. totally correctable with glasses, contacts and/or surgery

If your prescription is -2.75 D, then when your eye is supposed to be focused at infinity, it is really focused at about 36 cm away. This means that anything beyond 36 cm away will appear increasingly blurry.

So -2.75 is pretty near-sighted, but easily correctable.
