I think you would be better to just take the apple into work whole and slice it as and when you want to eat it. No need to worry about it going brown then!

Get an apple slicer that will cut you apple into slices and removes the core. Cut the apple, then careful lift the slicer out of the apple, you should be left with 8 segments and the core. Push the segments back up against the core so that you have a whole apple again, then wrap it up tightly in clingfilm. When you get to work, tap it, unwrap it!

Normally I would suggest lemon juice but thats not going to be very practical. Isnt there a knife where you work. Cant you buy a paring knife and take it in with you and leave it there. Apples are best sliced just before eating

I see no reason why you can't take a whole apple with you. If you must slice it first, then rub the surface of each slice with a cut lemon.

I would bring the apple and a knife, or use a knife at work. They say if you use lemon juice, it will stop the slices turning brown - but it's never worked in my experience.

Get a little apple or orange juice and soak the slices in that.. as long as its covered it will keep it from turning too brown.

Put the slices into a bag, and add lemon juice. Shake the bag so that all the slices are covered. Then make the bad as airtight as you can.

Yummy, apples that taste like lemon juice.
Try using apple juice and even a little bit of cider vinegar.
