According to the "experts" an average adult needs approximately 8 hrs sleep per day. That being stated, I usually get about 4-5 hours of sleep on the average day and find I function just as well as everyone else out there (and better than some for sure!) The amount of sleep you need depends upon a few things really. Your age (younger need more sleep and the elderly seem to need less sleep), the amount of physical activity you do each day, and the time that you go to bed all seem to be factors. And for some it is also what shift you work each day that seems to make the difference.

yea i agree with kencan. Healthy sleep during the nite depends on the quality of the sleep. Some people would feel extremely energetic by just 4-5 hours of sleep. It's the matter of whether u can relax whole of your body before sleeping, preferably turn on some relaxing music for u to relax. Recently i found out that listening to some brain therapy music helps a lot. Feel free to visit www.brainsync.com, there are a product called "sound sleep" and another one "deep sleep". You could listen it during your sleep, it add quality to your sleep.

Depending on the quality of your sleep, that is how deep you sleep. If you can sleep deeply, then 5-6 hours will be enough. If not, stick to 8-10 hours.

interior the wild hamsters and an outstanding form of rodents are prey to larger animals like cats, dogs or maybe more effective rodents (a hamster does no longer very last a minute antagonistic to a rat) Now, maximum if now no longer all rodents have crappy eyesight, they use their whiskers, scent and listening to to move round wisely, so what does it problem if that is day or nighttime? It concerns to the hunter even with the reality that, multiple hunters require suitable eyesight, so if the prey is out at nighttime time, there is quite a lot a lot less chance of being considered.

It is different for each age group, teens need about 13 hours, older people need less, and younger people need more. When you are in your 20's- 30's you should get about 9, fourties to sixties is 8 and it becomes less after you quit working. At least that is what I read.

One needs enough sleep that leaves them capable of hitting the "E" rather than the "D". Go back to bed!
