My guy is stressing me out. Ever since i started working he has been constantly asking me for money to fix his car. He also works but his money doesnt cover the full costs to fix his car. When i refuse to give him the money..he ignores me and fights with me alot. He said that all he needs is my help..but im starting to have doubts about him. So i helped him out and now i feel miserable. All he cares about is his car. Am i wrong to think this way of not helping him?

hi melisha, thats not very nice of him, if anything he should be supporting you and looking after you that may be old fashioned but i still believe in that. Poor thing, dump him, why would he ignore you? I cant understand these guys, it really gets to me, No your not wrong to think this way i'm a guy but i'm sure other girls will back me up on this one you deserve better than that,

Hi Melisha,
certainly not. I think its perfectly obvious where your boyfriends priorities are, if its not his car then it is his friends. You come some way down the list. This should tell you exactly how he feels for you as my top priority had always been my wife when it was just the two of us and then my top priority changed to my children as it should. Your doubts are being confirmed by your boyfriends own actions and a lovely girl such as your self deserves to be treated , loved and cared for so much better than you are at present.

You need to look out for number 1, which is you. If you are having doubts, follow your doubts. He should be man enough to fix his own car, buy you flowers and take you out to dinner. I understand that stuff happens sometimes an he may need some financial help, but enough is enough. Or he could just get a good car.

no you are perfectly fine in your thoughts. it is the same if a woman asked me to help pay for her groceries, cable bill or something like that. if we are seeing each other a few bucks is fine. a lot of money is not fine. I should not have to pay her rent or feed her if she has a job (although emergencies do come up and break the rule) I may lend but never give a large amount of money to anyone.

follow your thoughts. it seems as if he does not actually use the money for his car, maybe he has another girl and he needs money to take care of her. you are not wrong to think that way.
take care

Good for you, working and earning your own money. I don't blame you for not helping him out, what's wrong with his cash flow? Let him find someone else to pimp his ride.
