The first time me & my fiance' met was in middle school. I was a cheerleader & he was a basketball player. I had a "crush" on him way back then but he had a girlfriend. Obviously, it couldn't have been very serious then anyways. All through middle school & high school we weren't really close, we spoke to each other while passing in the halls and usually nothing more. He graduated a year before me and I pretty much forgot all about him.
Then my first semester in college I walked in my English class and there he was! We started dating about two weeks later and ended up like we are right now. We're getting married May 19th! It still seems weird to me he's been right under my nose all this time

My girlfriend and I had been roller skating and got a ride home from two guys. We stopped at an amusement park, and a fellow came up to us while the boys were off getting tickets, and invited us for a drink. I said.. we're too young to drink so we can't go to a bar.. he said, that's ok I have whiskey... no we don't like that.. I have gin.. no we don't like that.. went on through practically the contects of the liquor store when finally the threw up his hands and said I have BEER... and we said OK :) So two silly girls took off with this strange man, and when we got to the car his friend was coming out of the bathroom.. they'd just stopped for a potty break.. and he had NO idea that this guy was picking up underage girls for drinking parties. And they really had ALL that liquor for a 50 person booze cruise in the trunk... and his friend was nervous as all heck to have all that liquor in the car with two minors.
To make a long story short.. that was 35 years ago and the friend from the potty stop is my husband... I did NOT tell my mother how we met until we'd been married 7 years and had a child!

My college roomie had a drunken one night stand with him. She put him on my AOL buddy list and would switch to her screenname when he got online and he would get offline. Finally I asked him one night when he got online late why he was getting offline and he told me what the deal(one night stand)was since she didnt tell me the whole story. We chatted online, me knowing a brief description of what he looked like :), and really got along. We kept in touch for a year and a half and eventually were talking on the phone and met in person which was quick and in the mall parking lot because I was leaving work.
Anyways, he kept asking me out and I would say no even though I liked him. I needed a place to live and moved into the upstairs of his massive new house and we started dating after drunkenly confessing our feelings. We got engaged in 6 months and married 7 months later. We will be married 3 yrs in April and have an 8 1/2month old daughter. God really wanted me to be with him and I couldnt be happier. He's awesome and we have a great relationship. Our baby is icing on the cake! I only wish every girl can find a guy as great as him!

The same as many people, we met at work, I was (and still am) a receptionist and he had come for a job interview, he was with his then girlfriend who waited in the reception area while he had his interview. He got the job and I would say good morning to him on his way in to work, but sometimes he looked really moody so I was kind of a little scared of him. It wasn't until a year later that I went to work for the same company as him that we got together, by that time he was single and we are getting married this year!!!

My husband IMed me out of the blue after seeing my Yahoo profile. About a month later, we met up at an Olive Garden. We spoke on the phone for the first time that day too, when I called him to tell him that I was on my way out of my house. I think we talked again like 3 more times before we met because I got lost! (In my defense, I didn't have a printer so I hand-wrote the directions, and it was a confusing place to get to because I'd never been in that area.) When I first saw him, I think my first thought was that he looked even better in person than in his picture!
We got married on the one year anniversary of when he first IMed me. =)

We actually talked online for a while, and had some mutual friends. Although, I first met my husband at a basketball game. I was with a friend. I had a b/f, and I wasn't really interested in anything with him at the time, so not much was goin on that time.
It took the second time for us, when he finally asked for my number, and he came and picked me up for the movies, and we had our first date-which was great! Now it's 7 years of dating later, and working on our first year of marriage.

We met in Cancun Mexico we were both there on a business trip although both of us were not in the business (our parents were). The first time we met I felt he was shy. A couple of nights later on a booz cruise he came up to me and we talked and laughed and spent the whole night on the beach.
We both fell in love that night (maybe the ocean, maybe falling stars or to much tequila) we wound up living 20 minutes apart, went to the same college and married 18 months later.

I would talk to him and actually was a witch to him, I left the next Day for 3 Weeks for a business trip and when I came back and wet to a party as soon as I got there he walked right up to me and asked me if I was ready to talk, he followed me around the whole day. I was just coming out of a rotten relationship but he gave me my time by never gave up. I eventually started talking to him and spending more and more time with him. that was 5 years ago and we're getting married in 3 months...
