Your question is sad but I think it would be lovely to be able to call a lost love one.

I would call the baby (Squidge) I lost 7 weeks ago and tell squidge how much I miss and love him, I would tell him that I will always love him and that I miss him every second of every day for the rest of my life.

Well its strange you should say that.
I know it might be difficult to believe but heaven does have a phone.
You can speak direct to God one on one if you want to.
Firstly you have to believe, this sounds obvious but of course if you dont believe you wont really listen for an answer.
The conversation is not like a conventional one.
You need to be aware that you are talking to the creator of the universe so its best not to be trivial. Its best to show respect and put some thought into what you want to say. He will always make time for you but bear in mind he is busy running the universe and may not appreciate being asked about things that you could easily google.

If you are thinking "rubbish" there is one simple way to find out.
Try it.
Ask him a question. If you are capable of understanding the answer it will come to you.
Its best not to ask him for Ice cream, sweets (money).
He will generally give you more than you ask for IF its not going to harm you, or anybody else. (its therefore difficult for him to give money in huge amounts as it generally brings unhappiness)

Try to avoid the temptation of asking him to prove his existance. Its really would be a tiresome question for someone who has caused everything to come into being.

Try saying hello.Try asking him for understanding, or peace, whatever you like.
He wont let you down if your requests are reasonable.

Good Luck.

I'm not sure there is a direct line to anyone else but God.

If Heaven had a phone there would have to be an awful lot of staff to answer the sheer amount of calls from christians begging for forgiveness. Or what to do next. Or even how to live.
If i were God i'd have to be x directory.

Getting by the busy tone and the answering machine, then call waiting, then extension codes, there might not be enough time left in life if you lived for 10,000 years to even pick a language. This question makes me sad.

My neice to ask why she died because we never found out not even with an inquest they just couldnt find anything wrong with her. That would be the answer we have looked for and cannot find but if only it could be that simple.

The monk Paisios and ask him what is the cure of cancer. Monk Paisios died of cancer. He knew the cure of cancer. He was claiming that scientists are so much close to the cure but God doen't allow to be seen yet. As he was saying "the time did't come yet"

"if heaven had a phone" sounds like a great title to a very bad cheesy love song....or a part of a hilarious pick-up line.

I would ask to speak to God to apologize for the planet Earth's bad behavior (me, included). Or maybe I would want to speak with Darwin - oh, yeah....wrong number.
