well...this may sound strange to you but one does not really "get" a girlfriend like going to the convenience store and pick one out.
just go out and meet more people of your same interest and go with an open mind to just want to make more friends.
when you make more friends naturally, without a tunnel vision and fixation of "getting" a girl friend, you will naturally meet someone whom you will be attracted to and hopefully she would find you attractive too.
very often, things you long for comes to you when you least expected it, that would be one of many ways to finding a girlfriend.

watz the big deal in that just talk to a girl whom u really like n see if shes interested if everything goes well just propose her if she says yes u ve done it if no try with someone else but youre damn to get someone cause in this world someone is for someone thatz sure

if u r in a city, hit some malls & pubs wer u can find a lotta pick-up artists who hav gud tricks up their sleeves to pick-up gals. try to acquire some n try it out. b4 tat groom urself well n try not to have a dumb-***, loser look.
