Definately go with Leonard Cohen - If you don't mind a bit of religious sentiment, he was the writer of Hallelujah, later covered by Jeff Buckley.
I'm also quite into Augie March at the moment. I don't know how many people would describe them as deep, profound and/or intelligent lyrics. But there is something about the words and the music that just gels, try One Crowded Hour.

My canines is familiar with my sons call. I ask her to locate Oskar and he or she runs to him. that's probable because of fact he's barely a infant and that i'm continuously asserting his call, and have been at residing house lots of the day so she's listening to me call his call plenty :)
