a pound of feathers.
logic:
pound of gold refers to a £1 coin;
pound of feathers - as in 1lb of feathers
therefore, a pound of feathers will be heavier in this sense

Both! But the gold probably weighs a bit more than the feathers.

If you put each on a scale, they are the same. But if you try to lift it, you will find the gold heavier as it's weight is "concentrated or confined" in a much smaller block. The same weight of feathers would be a much bigger bulk so the weight is "distributed" so you might "feel" it's a bit lighter.
