This isn't like me, since usually I'm happy and easygoing, but for the last couple of days I've been very sad and I'm not sure why. It's not PMS and I don't believe I have depression. I just feel like something is seriously wrong - a nagging feeling - and I can't figure it out. My relationship with my boyfriend is fine, but I've been looking for things that are wrong. Does anyone have any ideas for how to figure out what's wrong when there's no obvious answer? I wish I could snap out of it because I know I'm no fun to be around when I'm like this, and I can't really talk to anyone about it because I don't know what to say. Thank you!

I think you need to get your goals sorted out a little. Everyone needs some sort of direction, to let them know their existence isn't completely insignificant. Make sure you have several on-going goals, one is having a good relationship, another may be (insert what you want here).

Find the current flaws in your life and try to expell them, if it's money - get a job. If it's boredom - find something to do that you like. Don't rely too heavily on your relationship to keep you happy, it's to support your happiness not to be depended on.

It sounds like mild anxiety and fortunately it doesn't sound particularly serious. At least you have the good sense to realise that there is nothing really wrong for you to worry about. It could be due to a slight chemical inbalance in your brain which may be as a result of something as simple as being over tired. Most people experience those sort of feelings from time to time. It's only if they become chronic or start interfering with your normal life that it's a cause for concern.

Make sure you are getting enough sleep. Frustratingly anxiety can quickly spiral because it's at night that the worries get worse, keep you awake and then in turn make the problem worse. Also make sure that you are eating a healthy diet, drinking enough water and try and get a bit of exercise every day. This could well be enough to counteract the problem.

If the symptoms persist then it might be worth discussing them with your doctor but be wary, some doctors are a bit too quick to put people on antidepressants which aren't always the best solution

If you feel like something is seriously wrong, then it probably is depression. It's not uncommon for depression to come out of nowhere and like someone had suggested, maybe it is dietary and can be treated with vitamin supplements. However, most depression is serious and can be treated with a short course of anti-depressants. If you are depressed, big deal, your depression can be fixed, so to speak! Don't let yourself get trapped into thinking these feelings will go away on their own. If you can consult a doctor, do. Try to be proactive about making yourself feel better. Sometimes exercise helps...

The body is a fine balance of hormones and chemicals. When these get unbalanced for example during your period they can cause mood swings. Try exercising as they release happy hormones that may restore the balance or chocolate does the same. If you continue to experience this then seek medical advice. As for your boyfriend you may have experienced pain before so you are trying to spot it before it happens so you can say 'I told you so' but you are endanger of pushing him away so calm down.

Maybe, you need to be paying attention to yourself more. Like, your needs and wants. Having a time out. Try taking a day off and go somewhere peaceful..like to a park or do what you want that's fun. Something for you so that maybe you can regain back the simple things in life again.

If you have only been feeling that way for a few days, don't worry about it. If it keeps up longer, I would see a doctor/pastor/councilor etc.

Sounds like you may have some nutritional deficits.... try eating more potassium (pickles, orange juice, tomatoes) and see if that helps.

....if it persist you may be anemic. An Iron supplement along with vitamin B12 will help. ....sorry your not feeling well :(

These "chemtrails" the airplanes are spraying that no one notices are making everyone sick, flu like symptoms, but not the flu, rashes, hives, what aren't they telling us? Keep your chin up!

Buy some shoes or a handbag. You will be at peace with the world then.
