I have found that the unimformed are the loudest and rudest, so I skip to next.

Just remember it is their smallness that makes them mean.
You are better than that, far better.
Donkey story
the farmer's old donkey fell down the dry well. The farmer sadly decided to bury the donkey where he was so called the nearby farmers to help bury the donkey alive, and they came
The Donkey realising they were trying to bury it alive cried pitifuly for a while then grew quiet.
Curious the farmer looked over the edge.
There was the donkey. Every time a spadeful of dirt hit it's back it shrugged it off and stepped up.
The nearby farmers kept shoveling in the dirt.
Pretty soon the donkey stepped out of the well and trotted away.
Shake it off, step up

Think of it as attacking your question, not you personally. Best to shine it off, some of these people become stalkers and can make your Q&A experience quite unpleasant.
If you want to go through the bitchfight thing with someone, have at it, but someone usually comes out the loser, and if you question was questionable, you might find yourself a bit embarrassed.
Best suggestion: Let it drop, especially if you had some answers you like.

Since it is someone I don't even know, never saw before and never will see again, I honestly couldn't care less. There are always going to be nasty people around, more so on the 'net because it's anonymous and people who wouldn't dare being so rude in public feel all 'brave' and strong here... ignore them.

Thumbs down the answer and ask your friends to do the same. If it violates the rules Report it!
I don't know why people feel like they need to use this as their personal be mean outlet. I really suspect that these same people are picked on in their daily lives.

If someone has left a nasty reply I just ignore it, because I put no value in the response of someone like that. They are not worth the time it took them to write it, or you to read it. I wish that they would not reply at all if they are going to be so stupid.

This can be annoying when you have asked a genuine question.
However, there are many bored people with nothing better to do, probably don't read or have a meaningful life.
Carry one, don't let it bother your, just another stupid game on their part.

Ignore those who are rude or nasty...they get bored, see you had no reaction and go away....some people can be gutless due to the anonymity of the internet..

If they're just being sarcastic or obnoxious, I just ignore them. If the response is truly offensive and crude, I report them.

Ignore it, or find a question the person wrote and answer it nastily, and you'll get your 2 points.
