I don't know whether or not she's interested in me. She loves giving me hugs and being physical, and she is talkative in person. However, when we aren't face to face we don't speak unless i say hi first and even then she doesn't say much because she tells me she's "busy". What do i do?

She's interested if she is physical. She was the aggressor when she was being physical but you might not have given her the right signal. You might try being the aggressor. Start out slowly. Maybe smile, move in close, look her in the eye while talking to her and touch her hand or arm. Don't touch any "private" parts or she will think you are a perv.

Her mixed signals seem to be from shyness. Either that, or she's highly flirtatious. Some people just love to flirt though her physicality suggests she's definitely having some sort of attraction toward you. Smile at her and be warm and inviting with her so she'll feel more free to open up to you. She's probably just nervous since she might be interested in you. :) Next time you say hi, don't just leave it at that, start a nice conversation, if she doesn't seem to busy. If she brushes you off, back off for a little while and let her do the work. She'll wonder why you're not paying her any attention and the tables will start to turn.

The bigger question is, what do you feel for her? I'm figuring based on this post that you're interested in her, if you're not, then does it really matter?
The truth is, well, there's only one way to find out, which is to ask her outright. Based on what you're saying, I'm guessing that she likes you, but only as a friend.

I think she had a feeling abt u bt shes not ready to tell that.
Telling busy means shes trying to ignore u, cz she wants 2 know weather u hav a feeling for her or not.
Keep making friendship with her until u'll get to know what is she thinking abt you.

its either she just wants to be friends or she really is busy.
you never kno.
try observing (god that sounds weird) throughtout a normal day & see if it seems like she likes sum1 else.
that might help to tell u wat u need to do or if she rly likes u.
& does she tell you she's busy on some sort of instant messenger?
well if she does try to find out her phone number and call her sumtime on the weekend.
she can't ALWAYS b busy.

I think you should go slow and let her approach you and i think she likes you as a friend and is naturally affectionate
