which one is funner? taking a cruise or going to nyc?

My boyfriend and I are planning a vacation. He has never been to NYC, so I kind of really want to show him around and explore together. I was thinking about taking a cruise together too. We would probably do a 7 days or 5 days to the western caribbean. Which one would you recommend? NYC would be cheaper. That's a plus since we are on a tight budget.

I recently went with my husband on our honeymoon to NYC and went on a 7 day cruise to the Caribbean. NYC was great since it was our first time, it's an interesting place surrounded by sights, people and their unique lifestyle. We had a 4 night stay at NYC and believe it or not, we spent more in NYC. Hotel rates were high, transportation is costly, food was expensive. The cruise was the best! We rode FREEDOM of the seas and spent only $1200. It was really an experience. You're treated like royalty. It's all PREPAID!
Food, drinks, shows, everything is free. It's worth it!

Both are fun in different ways. It really depends on what activities you have planned. Personally I think a cruise will be more fun. But since you're in a tight budget, go to NYC first and make the best out of it. Then go on a cruise next year.

Too many people go missing off those cruise lines, and I think there'd be more to see and do in NYC.
