I adopted a little teeny kitten that was abandoned by his mother at 4 weeks old. He was a little less that a pound and didn't know how to eat. He was so small that I used to carry him around in my bathrobe pocket and he used to sleep inside our shoes. We brought him to the vet as soon as we got him and we had to feed him some supplement in a tube like that hairball remedy stuff. He just didn't want anything. One night my ex-husband and I were eating dinner and we used to let Sam come up on the table because he just liked to be around us. Well, I had a Tbone steak bone that was twice the size of Sammy and and he walked over to my plate and with all his little might he dragged it off the plate and chowed down on all the meat left on it!! He must have just had expensive taste. I told the vet and said that he finally ate some real food and she said that was great, but steak really was a good first food and to give him hamburger and rice instead. He lived to be 16yrs old and was the best cat in the world and was always big and fat.

I wouldn't worry to much about it as long as the kitten seems to be strong. Try adding some milk(canned cats Milk) and food together and see if that works. I know it has on my last litter of kittens.
I think that kittens need to stay with momma for 8 weeks, if not longer..

feels like this dogs has no longer had an exceptionally sturdy weight-help plan contained in the previous. by way of fact you have reported you asked the vet i'm guessing the vet checked to make beneficial there's no longer a tooth bothering him or something like that. it may take some artwork and time to get the dogs adjusted to eating dogs nutrition, which he truly desires to do, for his wellbeing. placed the dry dogs nutrition down, tutor him the place that's, possibly grant a chew by utilising hand. No treats, no human nutrition, no cat nutrition. he gets hungry and consume the nutrition. you may attempt, dicing some hen and blending it in with the nutrition as an extra enticement.

Let her feed off Mom but encourage her to eat by making the food mushy and put her paws in it or dip your finger in and wipe it on her mouth so she has to lick it off, it gives them the taste for it. If she doesn't like that, try soaking some dry food, you can whiz it in the blender and give that to her, she might prefer it. Don't start worrying yet, she's just slower than her sibling. They should stay with mom until at least 10 weeks, they still have plenty of time.

If she's active and healthy, I wouldn't worry about it. Give her a little more time; she'll eat solids when she's ready. (That's presuming you mean a 45-day-old kitten).

Well, my suggestion is to try to feed her some friskies. My kitten loves that stuff, it`s really al she eats. So i think that you should try it and if it doesnt work then go see a vet..and fast!

Mom will make the baby stop feeding when she's had enough. Let nature take its course; everything should be fine.
