Precisely. Everyone KNOWS how to react when something is bad, but when something is good, people are at a loss or doubt. Simple human nature stemming from our evolutionary days of being pursued by predators, I figure - that sort of dread would have kept us alive back then.

Well if you mean to say why the negativities get more attention then it is coz it is our survival instinct to figure out ways to cope in adverse situations.

Well, we are called "human" or "Bashar" and the word does mean "given the news".
