How long does it take to travel by airline from West Africa to the western U.S.?

Flying time roughly 18hrs but total time including layovers about 24. Currently there are no direct flights from the US to west Africa, after the closure of Ghana Airlines and the horrible situations in Lagos Airport many the US did not want direct links to the US from west Africa. Pretty much all the flights would require you to connect in London, Paris or some other major European hub and then fly on to most west african nations.
