Keeping a dog IS difficult. Check out three books from the library on puppy/dog care, and talk to them about how much you understand about their care and the commitment required.
Ask if you can foster a dog from a local shelter to see how one fits with your family's lifestyle.

If you really want a dog, show your family members that you are responsible enough to look after a one. They are after all a big responsibility, you need to feed, groom it and vacinate it and all that stuff. You need to show your family that you can do a good job of caring for an animal. You could baby sit other peoples pets when they go on vacation or something if you want to show how you can be responsible for a pet. And you could also tell them all the really great things about having a dog like how loyal they are and they can guard the house and things like that.

get the dog, and get rid of your family. Just kidding, it depends how old you are, if you are young your parents may be worried that they will end up caring for the dog. you could try showing responsibility by doing chores around the house, and show that you know what is involved in a dog's upkeep by researching, contacting your local vet for prices of necessary medications and shots. Another good thing would be to volunteer at a shelter, so that you get first hand experience dealing with dogs, and if you stick with that, they should see that you understand that it will be difficult, but you can handle it.

well i hate dogs. if someone in my family wants a dog then he or she can have it in seperate house. coz some ppl cant even stand for animals despite the fact how cute they are.
so i dont think if they are of same level as mine then u will have it if u buy or move to new house.

Hi honey! it's easy to decide, whom do love the most your family or the dogs? So be with whatever you love the most!

depends on your family. it is many reasons for that; for one, one of your family member might be aligies to the fur or the dogs skin.

Only thing what you can do is tell truth about and how you feel about it and ask them to help you to be resposable.
