Has any one heard of a coconut allergy? My son and I have the same reaction to coconut. Hives, nausea,and sometimes vomiting. I'm sure these are allergic reactions, but I've never heard of a coconut allergy before. Any help?

Not uncommon. You should see a doctor and get a list of things that contain coconut or coconut byproducts.

Yes, I am allergic to coconuts too. I love the smell, but tongue starts swelling within minutes. It will usually get caught in my throat on the way down if there is even a little on a cake. This is not uncommon.

Yep. You can be allergic to coconut and it looks like you are. Just avoid it.
