If you are a US Citizen, you do not currently need a passport to fly within the USA however you will need photo ID in order to fly and if you wish you use a passport you are allowed to.

No you do not because if you are in the United States you do not need a passport to travel form the U.S to the U.S. You only need a passport to travel here if you're from another country. Unless you're coming you Guam or the Marshall Islands.

You only need a us passport if you are leaving the US. You will need to show some ID (driver's license) at the ticket counter to get your boarding pass for flight, but not a passport.

you absolutely need your US passport while traveling within the US. youll also need to obtain a 30 or 60 day visa, which you can get at the US Embassy in your city, or the closest major city if youre in a small town. you also might want to check and see if there are any special entry requirements for any of the states you plan to visit. good luck !!!!!!

Actually, you don't need any ID whatsoever. The ID requirements aren't federal, it's imposed by the airlines for revenue protection. You can fly withOUT an ID, you just have to submit to a secondary TSA screening.

Not needed. But if you are not an amreican citizen, then it is better to carry some identification along with you always. Passport is a good identification.

No, you need a valid government issued ID. A passport would work, but a driver's license is just as good.
