After i fill out the appropriate form, attach the necessary document..sign it and yadda yadda, what do i do with it? Where do i send it?

You will have to address the envelope yourself. heres a link to find out where to mail your return based on where you live

The form should come with it an self-addressed envelope. Put all the documents in the envelope and mail it out. No postage necessary from your end.

Download the instruction booklet for whatever version of 1040 you used. The addresses should be there, probably near the back of the booklet - check the last page. Or all of the addresses are in Publication 17.

Get a copy of IRS Pub 17 from the IRS website. It will list the mailing addresses. The mailing address depends upon your address and they type of return you are filing.

go online to www.irs.gov. There are I believe 4 regional offices that you can sent to, 1 in Atlanta, GA, Boston, MA and 2 others depends where you live they suggest you mail to the one that holds your records, but it is not really needed. I have mailed to at least 2 of them.
